Check-in

If you have purchased a seat, you can download or print your boarding pass as soon as your purchase is completed. Otherwise, you can download or print your boarding pass for free on our website or mobile app from 4 days and up to 2 and a half hours prior to your flight departure.

In case you would rather not download or print your boarding pass, you may purchase the airport check-in service during the booking process or afterwards, through the section “Manage your booking”. The airport check-in service exempts you from printing or downloading your boarding pass and allows you to collect it directly at the Volotea check-in desk at the airport, showing your travel documents only.

There are two different ways to check-in online with Volotea. It can be done on our website or on our mobile app:

To complete the online check-in process on our website, you will need to follow the following steps:

1. Enter volotea.com.

2. Access your booking: Log in, or enter your booking number and the surname of one of the passengers in the Check-in section.

3. Get your boarding passes: After checking your booking and adding the services you want (seats*, luggage, etc.), download and print the boarding passes.

Mobile App :

1. Access or download the Volotea App (iOS or Android).

2. Access your booking Log in, or enter your booking number and the surname of one of the passengers in the Check-in section.

3. Get your boarding passes: After checking your booking and adding the services you want (seats*, luggage), save your boarding passes on your device..

(*) If you don’t want to choose seats, you can click on “I don’t want seats”. We will allocate you seats at random at no additional cost.

It is possible to buy specific seats and add services during the online check-in process.

For your comfort, choose a window or an aisle seat for an additional fee and make sure you’re sitting with your travelling companions.
Change or upgrade your seat up to two and a half hours before the flight
Remember that once you have checked in, you can’t change your seat.
If you don’t want to choose your seat, we will allocate you one at random, free of charge During the check-in (online or at the airport), we’ll assign you an available seat. You can check which seats have been allocated from four days before your flight, and get your boarding passes.
